Our part-time courses present the opportunity to learn from leading academics and gain an undergraduate-level qualification from one of the world’s best universities. They are studied over the course of one or two years and have been designed to allow students to balance study with work or other commitments. Course fees start from £1,650, and bursaries are available for eligible students.

Certificates are open to all and offer an excellent way into a subject for someone who has not studied it before. They are taught at a level equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree.

Diplomas tackle a subject in more depth and are recommended for students with some prior experience in the area they wish to study. They are taught at second-year undergraduate level.

Advanced Diplomas are taught over two years, at third-year undergraduate level. They allow students to pursue their own research project under the guidance of a Cambridge supervisor, and provide an excellent grounding in research methods for those wishing to continue with their research at a higher level. Advanced Diplomas require a maximum of seven visits to Cambridge over two years, and hence are accessible to students from all over the world.
