Discover life in World War 2 in the field of combat and on the Home Front.
After talking to parents who attend our Museum Kids Club we found a demand for sessions to support children who are being educated at home.
A weekday group has now been formed for those children to learn about history.
The first session will be on Tuesday 7th February from 2pm to 3.30pm. (£5 per child, one adult per child free). It will be on the First World War. Details on the attached pdf.

Annual one-day conference, hosted this year by Sussex Industrial Archaeology Society (SIAS).
As the sandbags were piled high, barrage balloons filled the air and the children were evacuated, Britain made ready to do battle on the Home Front. Find out how people defended their families, community and town during the dark days of WW2.

Cobham Remembers is a project run by The Cobham Conservation & Heritage Trust in conjunction with the Surrey History Centre, and is showing the digitally remastered film of original 1916 The Battle of the Somme which was shown in the former Cobham Village Hall in November 1916 .
This event will take place on 11th November 2016 at the present Cobham Village Hall at 7.45pm – tickets £5 each
