Woking Palace Excavation Open Day
A chance to see the results of the sixth season of excavations on this medieval and Tudor site.
* Tours of the trenches where archaeologists will explain the discoveries. * Displays of artefacts from the site. * Archaeology and history stalls to browse.
Please note that the last tour of the trenches leaves at 4pm and the site will close at 5pm.
St. Luke's Hospital Heritage Project
A team of volunteers has recently completed a research project on the history of the Guildford Union Workhouse Infirmary, which became St. Luke's Hospital. An exhibition has been created for display in the Education Room of the former hospital building. Once part of the complex, the Spike is available for tours.

LAMAS Annual Conference : Arenas of entertainment
The 51st Annual Conference of London Archaeologists organised by the London and Middlesex Archaeological Society will take place in the Weston Theatre Museum of London.
The morning will be a round up of Recent Work in London and Middlesex, followed by an affternoon themed on 'Arenas of Entertainment in Tudor and Jacobean London'.

Victorian School

Under The Surface
Chris Hutchinson is an amateur photographer and member of Yately Photographic Club. Around ten years ago he started to experiment with photographing the human face and form in new ways, including underwater. The exhibition displays some of his remarkable photographs using this technique.
This exhibition wiil be on show until March 1st.
Call for Volunteers. Church Meadow Ewell – Excavation July 2014
Volunteers are being sought for the third season of Excavation in Church Meadow, Ewell. This independent project is financially supported by Surrey Archaeological Society, Epsom and Ewell History and Archaeology Society, the Council for Brtish Archaeology and the local Committee of Surrey County Council.
The excavations will take place between 2nd - 20th July, Wednesdays to Sundays 9.30am to 4.30pm.
