In addition to guided tours of the trenches there will be a display of finds recovered from the site together with a range of stalls hosted by local heritage bodies. Parking is either in Old Woking or at Hoebridge School from where a minibus shuttle service will run to Woking Palace between 11am and 4.30pm approx.
The attached report by David Graham, with contributions by Phil Jones and Hugh Turrall-Clarke refers to a probable medieval iron working site in the garden of Coldharbour Cottage, Lower Moushill Lane, Milford in Surrey - NGR SU93892 42360.

This is a highly strategic site in the attempt to complete the sampling of the historic centre of Old Woking.
A number of experienced volunteers will be needed. Please contact Chris Hayward or Richard Savage either via the office or at medforum@hotmail.co.uk
